Audio Interview
In our podcast, you will hear a two-part interview with different individuals about their experience with food advertisements and the impact they have on their lives.
We chose a female and a male to interview so that we could get different perspectives and understand a little bit better how manipulative publicity impacts both genders. For reference, the interviewees are in the same age group.
The main focus was to understand how frequent and effective publicity of food is to these individuals and to see if at any point in their lives, a food advert had a positive impact on them. While our first interviewee said that adverts do sometimes have a positive influence on her, our second interviewee had an interesting story to tell about a family member.
So, can adverts, even if manipulative, have beneficial outcomes?
You’ll have to listen to our podcast to find out!
